KRÜ Esports to start Keznit, move bnj to 6th man
With the qualifiers for Masters 3 starting in the coming weeks, teams from all across the globe are starting to make moves to get themselves in the best spot to contend for a spot in Berlin. KRÜ Esports, the team that represented Latin America at Masters 2 has made a roster change. In this move they will be bringing Angelo "Keznit" Mori to the main roster, and in a corresponding move, send Benjamin "bnj" Rabinovich to the bench.
This move most likely has a direct correlation to bnj's disappointing play during the teams Masters 2 run. During the tournament, he had an ACS over 170 just once. Finishing with a positive K/D just one time as well, when he finished with an ACS of 300 and going 18/8 on Icebox versus yng Sharks. His play came as a shock, as leading into the Major, he was consistently hovering around the 200 ACS mark on both the Raze and Sova agents. For the time being, he will look to hone his skills and potentially come back even stronger for KRU or find a new home.
As for Keznit, before signing with KRU as a streamer in early May, he played with Wygers Argentina. The team had moderate success in the lower tier VALORANT scene in Latin America. In his final event with the team, Angelo lead the team to a 4th place finish in VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - LATAM South - Challenger 1. Keznit plays primarily the duelist role, a role that he has a lot of success in. Across almost 1600 rounds of competitive play, he has amassed a 1.40 rating and an ACS of 288.
It's clear that KRU Esports intends to repeat their success in the Latin American region, and look to make an even further push come Masters 3 in Berlin.
With this change, KRU Esports is now:
Nicolas "Klaus" Ferrari Roberto "Mazino" Rivas Juan "NagZ" Pablo Lopez Joaquin "delz1k" Espinoza Angelo "Keznit" Mori
Benjamin "bnj" Rabinovich (benched)
