Elevate is a North American organization founded in 2014. Over the years, they were able to gather true talent under their wings to represent them across multiple titles in the esports industry, such as Rainbow Six: Siege, Paladins, Call of Duty, and SMITE. Today, they revealed their entrance into the VALORANT scene and announced the signing of the first members of their lineup.

Elevate decided to sign players that have been actively playing VALORANT from the very first days of its closed beta phase - Erika "KP" Lytle and Justin "Jerk" Milani.

“I’m ecstatic about signing with Elevate. They are one of the first organizations I can remember watching when I got into esports over 5 years ago,” the team captain and in-game leader, Erik “KP” Lytle, commented for THESPIKE.GG.

KP has been bounded to Oxygen Supremacy since the end of April 2020, once he was introduced as a part of the organization’s content creator team, and moved into the active competitive roster one month later, where he was joined by his current teammate, Jerk. Both of them have been actively representing the colors of the organization and participated in a few bigger and smaller tournaments including 30Bomb: Summer Cup - 2020, Pulse Invitational, and Trovo Challenge - North America, where they showed their strongest performance and claimed second place after losing to Way 2 French in the Grand Finals 2-0. Ultimately, the players were left without any organization once it ceased its operations at the beginning of August 2020. Two of them started to play under the name Adaptation from that time, with a mix of the American and Canadian players.

“It’s been a long journey playing with Jerk since the start of VALORANT’s beta, and through roster changes, drama, all the ups, and downs, we’ve finally landed an incredible home. I’m so glad he has stayed by my side, as he is an incredible teammate and friend,” continued KP.

“The plan for right now is to take the next few weeks to finish finding the remaining three players for the roster. I expect this team to compete at the highest of levels, and I won’t accept anything else. It’s time to get to work,” he added.

According to sources, Elevate is close to finalizing the signing of the contract with their next player, Armel "Leak" Araneta, who was previously associated with Bloom, but left the team as they were signed by Spacestation Gaming. With this being said, two more spots are still remaining open for young talents who can add firepower to this promising roster.
