    Knights Arena announce groups for VALORANT Challengers Split 1

    Teams for the upcoming VCT 2023 - Challengers League North America - Split 1 have been finalized following the conclusion of Last Chance Qualifiers. Of the twelve participating teams, six were invited while the remaining earned their spot through Open Qualifiers or the LCQ.

    The event's format dictates that the participating teams will be divided into two groups, competing in a Round Robin format, with each match played in the standard best-of-three (bo3) encounters. Knights Arena announced the groups for the event by posting a video of the draw on their social media channels.

    Challengers Split 1 Groups

    Group A:

    • FaZe Clan
    • G2 Esports
    • Oxygen Esports
    • Shopify Rebellion
    • Turtle Troop
    • Team BreakThru

    **Group B: **

    • Dark Ratio
    • Disguised
    • M80
    • OR Esports
    • The Guard
    • TSM

    At the end of the tournament, teams will be awarded points based on their placements. Points earned at the event will accumulate over the course of the season as the mid-season invitationaland Challengers Split 2 will provide additional opportunities for teams to do so. However, it is worth noting that only the top eight teams from Split 1 will qualify for the mid-season invitational scheduled to commence on March 23. At the end of the season, the difference in points will serve as the basis for qualification to the Challengers Ascension event.
