Infinite1 joins NRG Esports to complete VALORANT squad
NRG kicked off their roster shuffle with benching Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette. Shortly after, they revealed the addition of Ryan "Shanks" Ngo to their roster. Now it is time for the fifth member to round out the organization’s VALORANT squad, and it is none other than Gage "Infinite" Green.
Infinite1 is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player, representing a number of reputable organizations during his career, including the likes of Chaos Esports Club, Swole Patrol, Team Singularity, Spacestation Gaming, Team Dignitas, and many more.
During his time playing the game, he managed to pick up multiple titles to put under his belt, namely the WINNERS League Season 2: North America Invite Division, WESG 2019 North America, ESEA Cash Cup - North America: Summer 2020 #2 and #3. Not only that, he also placed 5th-6th in both the Flashpoint Season 1 and DreamHack Open Summer 2020: North America tournaments.
Infinite1 showed his interest in transitioning into VALORANT since the tactical shooter’s closed beta, with Cloud9 eyeing the player at the time and was rumored to join their original roster. He has only competed in the Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown - NA showmatch tournament, and placed 9th-12th. More recently, he was part of NRG’s VALORANT team competing in the Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas, where they finished 9th-16th. They are currently competing in the NSG x Complexity VALORANT Open Qualifier, and Infinite1 is now officially part of the team.
The NRG VALORANT roster consists of: Damian "daps" Steele Sam "s0m" Oh Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic Ryan "Shanks" Ngo Gage "Infinite1" Green Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette (Benched)
