GodLike pick up FaR eSports VALORANT roster
The Indian VALORANT scene already has lots of competitions, and it encourages organizations to pick up VALORANT squads. One of the latest to join is Godlike Esports, picking up the FaR eSports roster. The organization already has an incredibly successful Indian PUBG Mobile team, alongside a recently formed Call of Duty Mobile squad.
Their VALORANT team consists of Shane "WhiteHorse" Kariwow, Shivam "sh1vy" Ajmani, Divyansh "ScarGod" Jain, Abhay "KnightRider" Mulchandani, and Jigar "sMxYT" Mehta. During their time representing FaR eSports, they managed to get 2nd place in the TEC Challenger Series - #3. A number of the players also competed in other events during their time with other rosters. For example, sMxYT, ScarGod and WhiteHorse placed 3rd-4th in the Skyesports Championship 2.0 - Sky Showdown. The latter of the bunch managed to get 4th place in the India Today League Valorant Cup. As for KnightRider and sh1vy, they competed in the TEC Challenger Series - #1 and TEC Challenger Series - #2, finishing 4th and 7th-8th respectively.
Both sh1vy and KnightRider represented God Particles during their previous Counter-Strike: Global Offensive careers, picking up 2nd place in the Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2018 and 7th-8th in Conquerors Insignia 2017. Following sh1vy’s retirement, KnightRider continued to play and moved on to District 9, getting 5th-6th in the eXTREMESLAND 2019 South Asia Regional Finals and finishing 3rd in the Dew Arena 2019.
sMxYT is well-known for his accomplishments within the Indian CS:GO community, having gotten 2nd place in the Dew Arena 2017, 4th in the eXTREMESLAND 2017 India Regional Finals, and 5th-6th in the Conquerors Insignia 2017. Both WhiteHorse and ScarGod are up and coming young VALORANT talent added to the roster to benefit from the previously mentioned players’ experience.
Will we see them climb the rankings of the Indian domestic VALORANT scene to move on to the world stage?
