gob b returns to CS:GO as new BIG head coach
VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event for BIG was a very difficult split. They lost all of their matches in the group stage, which meant they had to play in the VCT 2022 - EMEA Promotion Tournament. There, they defeated Anonymo Esports and Surreal Esports and held down a spot in the VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event. Despite this, BIG has decided to make roster changes.
The 34-year-old, gob b officially announced today that he is returning to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as head coach of BIG. The German is one of the founding members of BIG. Additionally, gob b was a player and manager of the BIG first team for many years, and was an academy coach before moving to VALORANT.
As previously reported by THESPIKE.gg, most likely Kasper "Kaspe" Timonen will also part ways with BIG. New players on this team are expected to be Niels "luckeRRR" Jasiek, who is currently on the bench at Alliance, and Alessio "musashi" Xhaferi, who recently played for Rebels Gaming. VCT Stage 2: EMEA Challengers starts on May 13, so we can expect to see BIG debut their new lineup that week.
BIG should be:
Ceyhun "AslaN" Aslan Nico "Obnoks" Garczarczyk Karel "Twisten" Ašenbrener Niels "luckeRRR" Jasiek Alessio "musashi" XhaferiJiri "KUNDIKUNDI" Honkala (Head coach)
