Gambit replace Sunset with Redgar
M3 Champions have announced Igor "Redgar" Vlasov as the newest addition to their roster, replacing the outgoing Danila "Sunset" Soloviov.
Like many VALORANT professionals, Redgar comes from a lower-level career in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In VALORANT, he’s played on a number of different mixed rosters, most notably flawless, who he’s played with since mid-September. Redgar helped flawless to second place in the Dell Gaming Challenge, fourth in the TOURSTAT Summer Clash, and a semifinals appearance in Valorant Challenge 2. flawless failed to qualify for CIS First Strike in two attempts.
Redgar joins a Gambit squad that has been somewhat struggling lately, only making the semifinals in CIS First Strike despite coming in as the favourites, and, more recently, failing to qualify for either the Nicecactus New Year Trophy - Main Event or the LVP - Rising Series - #1 - Main Event. Perhaps he’ll be the difference they need. He’s already played with the team in some events after First Strike, the aforementioned events that Gambit have struggled with.
Gambit Esports is now:
Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin Nikita “d3ffo” Sudakov Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov Bogdan “sheydos” Naumov Igor “Redgar” Vlasov
