G2 Esports sign leaf to complete 2024 roster
G2 Esports recently joined the VCT 2024 Americas lineup after issues with The Guard’s participation and they announced a 4-man roster, missing the last piece of the puzzle. That puzzle was completed yesterday as the organization announced Nathan "leaf" Orf’s arrival for the upcoming season.
Riot Games unveiled G2 Esports as the latest inclusion in the lineup of teams set to compete in the 2024 VCT North America season and the organization made a ground-breakişng announcement by signing four of The Guard’s players, who had an incredible run at VCT 2023: Ascension Americas. However, they still missed a spot, and there were many ideas on who would complete G2’s roster for the upcoming season. According to the latest announcement, leaf will step in to compete for G2’s success alongside JonahP, neT, valyn, and trent.
“I’m super excited to be joining G2 and to be competing with this stacked roster, we showed everyone what we could do in Challengers, now it’s time to show them what we can do in VCT Americas,” said trent.

Leaf’s VALORANT journey started under the Cloud9 roof back in 2021 and he didn’t play for any other team so far. He left the team after C9 placed third in VCT 2023: Americas Last Chance Qualifier. Throughout his career, leaf competed in some of the most competitive tournaments, such as VALORANT Champions 2021, VCT 2023: LOCK//IN Sao Paulo, and VCT 2023 Americas League. He currently holds a 1.20 rating and a 1.19 K/D. Last year, he had 18 Jett games which he held a 1.16 rating. His second most-picked agent was Skye with 9 matches.
