G2 Esports part ways with VALORANT roster
G2 Esports have parted ways with their roster as they were unable to get a partnership spot for the upcoming year. m1xwell, AvovA, nukkye, hoody, Meddo, and the head coach pipsoN are expected to join different teams in the upcoming days.
G2 Esports are one of the most famous esports organizations in the world. Competing at the highest level in different titles made them one of the most successful teams in the world and they also had a VALORANT branch, competing in the EMEA region. With the new system league system that Riot Games had announced a while ago, it was expected for them to join the VCT 2023 Americas League. However, G2 Esports lost the chance to remain in the highest VALORANT competition after the incident on Twitter, including the team owner ocelote. As a matter of fact, G2 Esports have released the whole lineup and the players are now free agents, which means that they can sign with any team they wish.
G2’s roster included many talented players but they recently failed to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2022. All the players have had international experience before as despite missing the Champions they still competed at Masters. Among the 5-man lineup, Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas is the one that stands out the most with a solid 1.20 rating in 5479 rounds of his career on top of the 1.28 K/D. Apart from the Lithuanian player, Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas also had great performances, as he is currently holding a 1.18 rating.
Many rumors are being thrown on Twitter lately but none of the players have officially joined a team ahead of the upcoming season. G2 Esports' disbanded roster is as follows:
Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho Auni "AvovA" Chahade Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas Johan "Meddo" Lundborg Daniil "pipsoN" MeshcheryakovLatest News
