G2 Esports officially bench m1xwell
Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho has announced that he has been officially benched by G2 Esports and he is open to offers from other teams.
G2 Esports entered the VALORANT scene with a competitive roster that looked solid on paper and m1xwell was a part of that lineup. The European team had many roster shuffles between tournaments and they announced the arrivals of Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas and Johan "Meddo" Lundborg a couple of weeks ago. After the announcement, Cista "keloqz" Wassim was moved to bench and m1xwell took on the duelist role. However, things didn’t go as planned for G2 as they faced a 2-1 loss against Alliance in the VCT 2022 - Europe - Stage 1 - Closed Qualifier 1, getting eliminated from the tournament.
m1xwell was almost a figurehead for G2’s VALORANT branch due to his experience and service time being the only player that stayed from the first day of the organisation entrance to the game. With the disappointing results in the 1st Open Qualifier of VCT 2022 while playing with m1xwell while ending up winning the 2nd Closed Qualifier with keloqz replacing him, the European team decided to move on with keloqz for the upcoming event. m1xwell didn’t have the best start to the season, holding a 0.96 rating and 0.97 K/D in the last eight maps. During his stay with the team, m1xwell has been victorious multiple times back in 2020 when the team won all the major events they played in including BLAST Valorant Twitch Invitational, LVL VALORANT Clash 2, Allied Esports Odyssey and Mandatory.GG Cup.
With m1xwell moving to the bench, G2 Esports’ official lineup now is:
Auni "AvovA" Chahade Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas Cista "keloqz" Wassim Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas Johan "Meddo" LundborgLatest News
