Fnatic made temporary roster changes during VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík and now they have finalized their roster before the second stage of EMEA action. With Andrew "braveaf" Gorchakov and Martin "MAGNUM" Penkov stepping down from the main roster, Emir "Alfajer" Ali Beder and Enzo "Enzo" Mestari are the new starters for the European organization.

Fnatic had magnificent group stage performances during VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event where they went undefeated, winning all five games. However, the inconsistency showed pulse with the start of the playoffs and Fnatic couldn’t reach the grand finals. They still made it to the international stage but with two major misses, Andrew "braveaf" Gorchakov both for travel issues and Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev missed the tournament because of COVID. The board brought two stand-ins, Joona "H1BER" Parviainen and Enzo "Enzo" Mestari, and failed to make it out of the group stage despite consistent individual performances from each player. braveaf and Martin "MAGNUM" Penkov’s departures were announced before, as covered and the fans were waiting for the upcoming talents that were going to fill their shoes.

The Turkish player, Emir "Alfajer" Ali Beder showed impressive performances under the Surreal Esports roof. The team literally came out of nowhere and reached VCT 2022 - EMEA Promotion Tournament by winning the VRL - Turkey: Birlik - Stage 1 - Main Event trophy and Alfajer had one of the most important roles on the roster. He holds a 1.21 rating and 1.30 K/D since the start of his career. Secondly, Fnatic’s stand-in at Iceland, Enzo "Enzo" Mestari has signed the official contract to be a part of the team long-term. The French star mainly plays Sova and he showed his archery abilities while playing for Alliance but he also picked agents like Sage and Viper during his short-term togetherness with Fnatic. He holds a 1.05 rating and 1.11 K/D in 5100 rounds.

Fnatic’s second stage roster will be as below:

United Kingdom Jake "Boaster" Howlett United Kingdom James "Mistic" Orfila Finland Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev France Enzo "Enzo" Mestari Turkey Emir "Alfajer" Ali Beder
