When Riot Games first announced that it would be partnering with the EWC - Esports World Cup 2025 for TFT, League of Legends, and VALORANT, it was met with varied reactions from the esports community. Many fans were disappointed but not surprised with Riot's decision, especially with how much flak the event has gotten for sportswashing.

Meanwhile, the event promoters have revealed the full schedule and format of the tournament for VALORANT fans to look over and discuss.

The tournament will take place between July 8 to July 13, and will consist of a group stage and a playoffs portion. The schedule has been broken down across the following days:
