Entropiq enter VALORANT with a Polish/CIS mixed lineup
Entropiq are a new Czech organization who have been competing in Hearthstone and PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Battlegrounds. They have already found some success, finishing ahead of organizations like FaZe Clan at the PSL Season 6 tournament for PUBG in Finland. Today, Entropiq have announced a new, high-profile VALORANT roster.
Entropiq have signed Sebastian "NEEX" Trela, Michał "MOLSI" Łącki, Vladyslav "arch" Svistov, Egor "chiwawa" Stepanyuk, and Mikhail "Duno" Fokin to their roster. NEEX has deep CS:GO roots in the Polish community, being very popular as a longtime member of Izako Boars. He also played internationally with ESC Gaming early in his career, as well as being part of Belgian organization SMASH Esports’ attempt at making it big before leaving in 2020 to play VALORANT. MOLSI has been around the Polish CS:GO scene for a long time as well, representing organizations such as Actina PACT and AVEZ. Arch will be most known for his time on Team Spirit and K1CK, while Duno used to play Warface competitively. In VALORANT, though, these players have been just as or more successful than any of them were in their previous games.
Arch, Duno, and Chiwawa played with Dmitriy "dimasick" Matvienko and Daniil "pipsoN" Meshcheryakov throughout the early days of VALORANT under the name Worst Players. They were very successful, placing highly in events with other large European organizations and winning the Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown - EU #2. However, their performance dropped later on, and they disbanded due to a lack of offers for the team as a whole. NEEX played with current G2 Esports member Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski on Fordon Boars, achieving mixed results and disbanding with the departure of Patitek.
More recently, the five now representing Entropiq played under the name Entropiq during the Mandatory.GG Cup. They had another excellent showing, finishing in the quarterfinals and knocking out such big names as Team Liquid and SKADE along the way.
"In the short term, we want to build a dominant team with strong personalities and keep working steadfastly. Our long-term ambition is to be the best in Europe―or among the best," said arch in the official announcement.
Entropiq have frankly landed a coup with the team they’ve signed. They’ve proven that they’re very good, and have titles and recognition under their belt. They’ll be hungry and looking for more under their new banner.
Entropiq are:
