DRX acquire Vision Strikers’ parent company to join the VALORANT scene
South Korea’s number one Vision Strikers will perform under the DRX name, starting next season as DRX has acquired their parent company, eDreamWork.
Vision Strikers showed impressive performances during the VCT 2021 Circuit both regional and international. Their success began with the VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Korea Masters trophy. Despite failing to repeat the same success during VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Korea - Challengers, VS bounced back even stronger to pull out a VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Korea - Challengers Playoffs win to qualify for the VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Playoffs. They have also participated in VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 as the last tournament of the year but failed to make it past the group stage.
The DRX organization is known for its accomplishments in the League of Legends scene. One of South Korea’s biggest esports organisations, DRX, sought competition in the VALORANT scene for two years in a row but the wait is over now. Starting with the VCT 2022 season, the number one team of the region will perform under a new management.
Vision Strikers’ current roster is as follows:
