Dcop leaves Equinox Esports
Equinox Esports entered the VALORANT scene through the unsigned powerhouse of China Nguyen earlier in October, following multiple impressive tournament performances. Fans of the team at the time spammed #signchinanguyen to existence till they were picked up. However, the organization announced they are dropping Jose Carlo Muñoz "Dcop" Delsol out of their VALORANT roster.
Dcop had previous professional careers in Overwatch, Battalion 1944, and even Apex Legends. He represented the likes of Evil Geniuses and Tempo Storm before making the switch to VALORANT. As part of Equinox Esports, he managed to place 13th-16th in the Renegades x NSG VALORANT Invitational, 5th-8th in the Nerd Street Gamers - Monthly November, and most recently, 4th in the Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas.
On their course to qualifying to the First Strike North America Regional Final, they fell short twice in the First Strike North America - UMG Closed Qualifier and First Strike North America - NSG Tournament - Closed Qualifier after making it out of the open qualifiers. Dcop has averaged 231 ACS throughout his VALORANT career, contributing 146.5 ADR across 2208 rounds with 0.77 KPR.
The Equinox Esports roster is:
David “DXN” Nguyen Jake “Paincakes” Hass Danny “cutefatboy” Nguyen Kevin “mina” Nguyen
