CrowCrowd VALORANT roster disbands
The CIS region undeniably has immense VALORANT talent, with incredible teams battling it out for supremacy. Unfortunately, CrowCrowd have announced their disband, which comes at a strange timing, following their 3rd-4th finish in the VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - CIS - Challengers 2. The team released the statement through their VK page, thanking the players and their memorable performances.
While playing under the CrowCrowd banner, the team has achieved tremendous success, finishing 3rd in the Snow Cup Final, and 3rd-4th in all of the Nicecactus February Trophy - Qualifier #2, the Nicecactus Christmas Trophy, the LVP - Rising Series - #1 - Main Event, and most importantly, VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - CIS Masters. The squad stepped up big in the VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - CIS - Challengers 1, failing just short of lifting the trophy after falling to forZe in the tournament’s Grand Final.
Unfortunately for CrowCrowd, their roster recently took a big hit with the departure of star Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev to Fnatic. With this, their performance dipped, and it seems likely it had something to do with the disband news.
Most of CrowCrowd’s former roster - Leonid "Panic" Pozdnyakov, Kirill "Cloud" Nehozhin, Alexey "slk" Lunskov, Adel "dreAms" Smirnov, and Mikhail "Duno" Fokin, are free agents, while Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko remains a benched member of Team Singularity.
