Cream Real Betis sign the roster of Team 28

Real Betis are the esports division of Spanish football team Real Betis, formed after an agreement that saw Cream Esports head the team’s venture into esports. With active presences in League of Legends, Clash Royale, and Fortnite, among other games, they’re one of the larger organizations in the Spanish scene. On October 5th, 2020, they announced their entry into the VALORANT scene with the signing of Team 28.

Cream Real Betis’ roster is made up of Jose Antonio "BromaS" Ramos, Ivaylo "Linepro" Krasimirov Kolev, Mario "PoPiFresH" González, Carles "XeoN" Garcia, and Luis "VARES" Olivares. BromaS, Linepro, and PoPiFresH all come from Overwatch, and each have been members of Team Spain for the Overwatch World Cup: BromaS and Linepro for several years, PoPiFresH just for 2018. In team competitions, BromaS was the most successful, at one point representing Dignitas. PoPiFresH played Contenders Season 1: Europe with Singularity, while Linepro is a former member of Samsung Morning Stars. Each has been out of the scene for several years. In addition to this, VARES was a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, representing x6tence and Team Queso.

In VALORANT, the team have been participating in many Spanish and European tournaments under the name Team 28. Some of their more notable results include reaching the semifinals in Desafío Legión and qualifying for the Valorant Master Series Cup #1. PoPiFresH has been serving as the team’s Jett, with XeoN playing Omen or Brimstone, Linepro Cypher, BromaS Sova or another fragger, and VARES Sage, switching to Breach after the nerfs.

Cream Real Betis bring a well-known, reputable brand to a European scene starving for organizations. Hopefully, their involvement will be long-lasting and bring more investment into the Spanish and European scene.

Cream Real Betis are set to make their debut in Group B of the LVP - Genesis Cup Fuego. The event begins on October 7th, 2020, with Cream Real Betis' first match being against UCAM Esports Club on the 8th.
