Crazy Raccoon announce four signings

The Japanese esports team, Crazy Raccoon, have announced the arrivals of Souta "popogachi" Morita, Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom, Ibuki "Meiy" Seki, and Moon "Astell" Ji-won.

After VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021, Crazy Raccoon decided to part ways with all of their players but Yusuke "neth" Matsuda. The organisation had many successes in the Japanese region, considering their VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Japan Masters and VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Japan - Challengers Finals wins. On top of their regional success, Crazy Raccoon had chances to compete internationally during VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Masters Reykjavík, VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Group Stage, and VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021. Their plans for the upcoming season are now clear as CR’s new roster has been revealed.

Starting with Munchkin, who had played for the Japanese organisation throughout the 2021 season. The South Korean player performed with many different agents last year, including Jett, Cypher, KAY/O, Sova, Raze and a bunch more. Joining the team from NORTHEPTION, Meiy holds a 1.16 rating, 231.3 ACS and 1.18 K/D since the start of his professional career.

Astell will also be joining his fellow countryman Munchkin in Japan. However, he is not a stranger to the regional scene as he has played for NORTHEPTION with Meiy last year. His favorite agent is Cypher and holds a 0.98 rating and 183.6 rating in his career. Lastly, popogachi, who had announced his retirement, is coming back to the professional scene with the Raccoons. popogachi holds a 1.31 rating and 233.7 rating in his career and he is a Sova main.
