Cloud9 sign TenZ as the first member of their VALORANT team
The American organization, Cloud9, has announced its entrance to the VALORANT competitive scene by revealing its very first member of the squad - Tyson “TenZ” Ngo.
The eighteen-years old player, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, is not a completely new face to the fans of Cloud9. TenZ has been a part of the blue team since the middle of 2019 where he was competing in the CS:GO tournaments. However, a few months later he got benched and in December of the same year, he moved to the position of a full-time streamer. In the meantime, he was also taking the role of a stand-in for the team AKT, whose roster was later acquired by Cloud9.
As the organization mentions on its social media, signing a player to compete in the newest Riot Games’ title was just a matter of time.
Cloud9, similar to other esports organizations that announced their participation in the future VALORANT esports activities, has decided to acquire a player with previous experience in the first-person shooter games such as CS:GO which is without a doubt, the most successful esports game of this kind. The organization will certainly tease us soon with more exciting news about its roster so stay tuned for more information!
