Boostio finalizes Spacestation Gaming's lineup
Spacestation Gaming have confirmed the addition of Kelden "Boostio" Pupello to complete their VALORANT roster, after previously announcing the acquisition of the core of Bloom roster at the end of August.
Originally a tier two Overwatch player for the likes of Skyfoxes, Karasuno, and Wave Check, Boostio first made a name for himself all the way back in VALORANT’s closed beta, where, at the ESPN Esports Invitational, he led a Team Heroes roster to the semifinals, and was ultimately considered one of the best players in a tournament featuring the likes of Spencer "Hiko" Martin and Braxton "Brax" Pierce. Since then, Boostio has found himself on a few rosters - first Triumph, then the unsigned team Second Wind, before now finding a permanent home on Spacestation Gaming.
Boostio’s Jett/Operator brings much needed firepower to the SSG roster, which has so far mostly just relied on the abilities of Daniel "roca" Gustaferri. We have seen this full roster in action, as Boostio was on trial with the team for the PULSE Series. Spacestation ended 2-2, ultimately finishing fourth in their group though only behind a few rounds in differential from second place.
“So excited to be on this roster, we're gonna do great things,” commented Boostio on his social media.
Spacestation Gaming are now:
Jordan “insky” Gonzalez Daniel “roca” Gustaferri Adam “kaplan” Kaplan Youssef “sSef” Daghache Kelden “Boostio” Pupello
