BLAST announce the last VALORANT European Ignition Series

The VALORANT European Ignition Series tournaments have seen G2 Esports dominate the regional scene, and they are given one final opportunity to prove their dominance over their competition. BLAST, the renowned Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament organizer, is diving into VALORANT with their BLAST Valorant Twitch Invitational.

It takes place between September 11th, 2020 to September 13th, 2020. The BLAST Valorant Twitch Invitational pits four teams up against each other with a €50,000 EUR prize pool up for grabs. The invited tournaments are G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and last but not least, FunPlus Phoenix. The entire tournament will be streamed live on BLAST’s main Twitch channel.

This marks the last and final European Ignition tournament, similar to Flashpoint’’s Pop Flash VALORANT Invitational, where Sentinels took the final crown available for the North American region. G2 Esports come into this tournament having won 5 out of the 5 competitions they have participated in, so it only makes sense for them to be title contenders going into the BLAST Valorant Twitch Invitational.

On the other hand, we have Team Liquid and FunPlus Phoenix trying to prove themselves regionally, with incredibly talented players on both respective teams, including the likes of Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Pontus "Zyppan" Eek respectively. Ninjas in Pyjamas’ roster experienced several changes and restructures before reaching this point, and they are eager to cement their spot as a strong candidate to win the BLAST Valorant Twitch Invitational.
