BIG finalize roster with zonixx
German organization BIG have been slowly building out their roster. They started out in style with former Counter-Strike players Fatih "gob b" Dayik and Alexander "alexRr" Frisch, and have since announced Ceyhun "AslaN" Aslan and Alexander "Ultimate" Pauls, while participating in tournaments such as the Mandatory.GG Cup and LVL VALORANT Clash 2. Today, they’ve announced their final member as Michele "zonixx" Köhler.
Zonixx, similarly to all of his teammates with the exception of AslaN, comes from a background of Counter-Strike. He represented mousesports in the base Counter-Strike game as far back as 2011, transitioning to Global Offensive in 2012 with the team. Since then, he’s played the game for many smaller organizations, such as 3DMAX, Team Alternate, and PANTHERS Gaming, as well as a stint back on mousesports in 2015. He won the ESL Pro Series Germany: 2011 in Counter-Strike with mousesports, but since then success has been few and far between as he’s played in lower-tier events.
In VALORANT, zonixx has been playing with BIG in all their events, though only as a stand-in until now. With him, BIG fell out early in the Mandatory.GG Cup, but have shown steady improvement, reaching the quarter-finals of the LVL VALORANT Clash 2.
“I am happy that after a long break, I can start another chapter in my esports book. Having all this happen alongside my long time friend gob b under the banner of BIG couldn’t be better. Huge thanks to my brother, who has my back while running the team, and all my viewers who accompany me on this new journey. We have a lot of work to do, but as they say: ‘#WorkHardDreamBIG!’,” said zonixx in the official announcement.
With BIG’s full roster completed, they’ll be looking to truly challenge the best in Europe at future events.
BIG's finalized roster is:
Fatih “gob b” Dayik Alexander “alexRr” Frisch Ceyhun “AslaN” Aslan Alexander “Ultimate” Pauls Michele “zonixx” Köhler
