beastcoast officially release Vegas, sign YaBoiDre
beastcoast were an intriguing roster when first announced, a mix of free agents with high potential. After just a few events, though, the team has officially released Jaden "Vegas" James, and brought in Diondre "YaBoiDre" Bond as his replacement.
Vegas and YaBoiDre were actually on the same team for some time, playing with Highground back in closed beta. When 100 Thieves picked up 4 members of the original Highground roster, though, including YaBoiDre, Vegas was left behind. He played with mixes for a while before finding what seemed to be a permanent home in beastcoast. Typically playing Cypher, his stats weren’t terrible: a 159 ACS and 0.71 KD. However, it seems Vegas has gone back to the game he knows the most, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, as he’s been playing the ongoing PUBG Continental Series 3 with Comets since October 3rd.
In his stead, beastcoast have been playing with the former 100 Thieves member. YaBoiDre was one of the players released from the squad due to their poor results - failing to make it out of groups at either the PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational or the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational. But his signing with beastcoast makes him the second former 100 Thieves player to find a new home, along with Zachary "Venerated" Roach. He’s already played the Renegades x NSG Invitational: Qualifier #1 with beastcoast, helping them to a 2nd place finish and qualification for this weekend’s Renegades x NSG VALORANT Invitational. He has a 193 ACS and 0.98 KD over all his recorded events.
beastcoast are now:
