beastcoast enter VALORANT with a mix of North American free agents
Beastcoast is a North American organization with teams in Dota 2, Rainbow Six: Siege, Smash, and FGC. Today, they have announced their expansion to VALORANT by signing some notable free agents from the North American scene.
Beastcoast have signed Jaden "Vegas" James, Jamal "jammyz" Bangash, Tanner "TiGG" Spanu, Brandon "Bdog" Sanders, and Hayden "Elevate" Krueger to their team. Vegas was a PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Battlegrounds player, with experience on teams such as eUnited and Ghost Gaming. He formed Highground in VALORANT’s beta, and was successful, with his teammates eventually getting picked up to join Spencer "Hiko" Martin on 100 Thieves. He’s been a free agent ever since, filling in on teams for the odd event. Jammyz and TiGG were Fortnite players, Jammyz was playing with smoke for a long time before he and TiGG joined Echo 8 over the last month or so. Bdog found some VALORANT success with Shironeko- and has been standing in on rosters like Prospects since. Lastly, Elevate is a Fortnite player still contracted to 100 Thieves, and is in fact only joining beastcoast on a 6 month loan from the organization for now.
“We’ve been working on this project behind the scenes for a while and beastcoast has been extremely helpful in the process. I am ready to show people what we can accomplish as a team.” said Vegas in the official announcement.
Beastcoast has an enticing group of players that have been bouncing around unsigned rosters in North America. If they can come together and make it all work, they could be a dark horse to challenge among the best in the region.
