BBL Esports re-sign with pAura and completed its 2024 VCT roster
BBL Esports announces the re-signing of 25-year-old its former IGL Melih "pAura" Karaduran, as part of their roster adjustments leading up to the VCT 2024.
pAura return to BBL Esports
pAura gained recognition in 2021 when he and Papara SuperMassive made history as the first Turkish team to compete internationally at Masters: Berlin. Despite a brief stint with BBL in 2022, pAura had spells with Team Heretics before settling with S2G Esports. While with S2G, he secured the second spot in the Turkish Challengers League, earning them a chance at the EMEA: Ascension Play-Ins. Unfortunately, their journey was halted when they lost to FOKUS in the playoffs, preventing them from progressing to the group stage of Ascension. Following this, pAura found himself in an inactive role on the team.
BBL Esports underwent significant changes after a lackluster 2023 season. Their unsuccessful performances in events like LOCK//IN and their failure to qualify for Masters: Tokyo and Champions 2023 led to the departure of in-game leader Ibrahim "SouhcNi" Sağır and Mehmet "Turko" Özen. This paved the way for including Efe "Elite" Teber and the return of pAura. These changes reflect BBL Esports' determination to strengthen their lineup for the upcoming competitions.
