ANDBOX announce the release of ALEKSANDAR
While VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 is in full swing, Andbox, a reputed esports organization in North America, has decided to part ways with Aleksandar "ALEKSANDAR" Hinojosa. The Valorant roster of Andbox is no stranger to change, with the inclusion of former Envy player Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo to the starting roster earlier this month after a successful trial period as well as the transfer of Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker to Envy – a change with notable impact on Envy’s recent performances.
Andbox has had difficulty finding their form throughout the entirety of the Valorant Champions Tour. Apart from Stage 2 of VCT, Andbox couldn’t make the Challengers being forced out of the qualifiers by the likes of TSM and Gen. G Esports. However, their unfortunate fate has extended beyond VCT as Andbox failed to qualify for NSG 2022 Winter Championship - Online Open 3, and placed 17th-32nd in Community Gaming VALORANT Elite Showdown - Main Event after losses against Cloud9 Academy and Built by Gamers.
Aleksandar "ALEKSANDAR" Hinojosa had been representing Andbox since August. He initially played in smaller tournaments during his trial period and was signed to the team on 20th September. Before joining Andbox, he was a notable member of Evil Geniuses. He also played with Moon Raccoons and Built By Gamers Academy before joining EG. During his stay at Andbox, he has competed in several NSG Championships including NSG Summer Champs - Main Event and Meta Open Valorant. He managed to maintain a 1.07 rating, 205 ACS, and 1.24 KD during this period.
Following this change, the Andbox roster consists of:
Adam "mada" Pampuch Daniel "vice" Kim Chris "pl1xx" Li Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo Josh "pwny" VanGorderLatest News
