100 Thieves release dicey & b0i
Back in February this year, dicey was benched after 4 months with the team when he joined alongside Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk, a player who remains a key to the team. The time in which dicey played, the team won First Strike North America Regional Final, 3rd-4th place finish in the JBL Quantum Cup and the last event in which dicey represented 100T was a disappointing 5th-6th placement in VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 2 which ultimately led to him being benched and Ethan "Ethan" Arnold being brought in as his replacement. While dicey haven't played in quite some time in official tournaments, without a doubt the player will be getting lots of offers from top organizations in the North American scene.
b0i was announced as replacement for a long serving player, Joshua "steel" Nissan who got benched which came as a surprise to the community. Within the announcement of b0i and steel, in came Johann "seven" Hernandez who became 100 Thieves primary substitute player.
In the short time that b0i had with 100 Thieves, VCT 2021 - North America Last Chance Qualifier would be the first and last event he would feature in. The team had a good run in the event but they fell short to Cloud9 in the lower bracket final after being one of the favourites to qualify for VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021.
Heading into 2022, 100 Thieves still boast a strong lineup and only time will tell if seven will be promoted to starting lineup or if a new player will step up to the mark for this prestigious team.
100 Thieves are now:
Spencer "Hiko" Martin Nick "nitr0" Cannella Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk Ethan "Ethan" Arnold Johann "seven" Hernandez (Substitute)
