Considering that a month has elapsed since the official start of Valorant off-season, it is no surprise that organizations are on the verge of finalizing their roster and the community’s anticipation to see these compositions in full effect is undoubtedly at an all-time high. Today, 100 Thieves decided to reveal their roster for VCT 2023.

100 Thieves were among one of the 5 NA organizations to attain a spot in the Riot partner program; therefore, having been permitted to compete in the Americas league for VCT 2023. Like many of their counterparts, they were evaluating their current roster and had an interest in introducing a couple of changes. However, today’s announcement has made it clear that the replacement of William “Will” Cheng with Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban and Sean Garres stepping down will be the only changes they will be making this off-season.

The team got off to a poor start in the recently concluded VCT season with a 9th-10th place finish in VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 1 - Main Event amidst controversies regarding their roster. However, they did not let the loss weigh them down and they decided to revamp their entire roster within the little time they had and came back stronger than expected in Stage 2 managing a 5th-6th place after a close loss against Faze.

Nonetheless, they kept their hopes high for the Last Chance Qualifiers and shocked the region with an incredible Lower Bracket run against the likes of Sentinels, Cloud9 and The Guard to earn a spot at VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event. Unfortunately, they couldn’t find a way out of groups courtesy of the Korean Giants DRX.

Going into VCT 2023, 100 Thieves roster should be as follows. It should be noted, however, that the team might introduce a player or two as substitutes later this year.

United States Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk United States Sean "bang" Bezerra United States Derrek "Derrek" Ha United States Brenden "stellar" McGrath United States Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban

United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia (General Manager) United States Michael "Mikes" Hockom (Head Coach)
