According to the Global Contract Database, 100 Thieves have added Zander "thwifo" Kim as the sixth player on the roster. The transfer window is closed, but teams are still allowed to add a sixth, and 100T didn’t have one. However, it is not clear whether the American player can compete right away or not.

Despite making a strong start to the 2023 season, 100 Thieves slowly lost pace. The organization started the off-season with an impressive win in Manchester, England. 100T took down Cloud9 to lift the VCT 2022 OFF SEASON - Red Bull Home Ground 2022 trophy and then headed over to Sao Paulo. They had a fairly easy draw compared to some of the other favorites of VCT 2023 - LOCK//IN and made it to the Group Omega semifinals before getting swept by Fnatic. They are not at an unacceptable spot in VCT 2023 - Americas League, but their initial performance looked much better than where they are right now.

100 Thieves didn’t have a “real” substitute player since the start of the 2023 season. However, this has changed today after it was revealed on the official Global Contract Database that thwifo has arrived.

thwifo is the new sixth player of 100 Thieves

thwifo’s professional VALORANT career started with XSET, where he spent slightly over a year before joining T1. However, he had the best times of his career with XSET. thwifo competed in the highest North American VALORANT level and played against the best players of the region. He also appeared in VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America Masters. He lastly joined NRG as the sixth man but never had a chance to play an official match.

100 Thieves are at three wins and two losses in VCT 2023 Americas League. They will come up against NRG on April 29. With the addition of thwifo, here is what the new 100 Thieves roster looks like:

United States Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk United States Sean "bang" Bezerra United States Derrek "Derrek" Ha United States Brenden "stellar" McGrath United States Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban United States Zander "thwifo" Kim

United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia (General Manager) United States Michael "Mikes" Hockom (Head Coach)
