Team Vikings pick up ex-Paladins professional player frzgod
The team already had a roster prior to forming this new one, but decided to start from scratch, and there is no denying Team Vikings is building a VALORANT powerhouse of a team. The latest to join their roster is former Paladins professional player, Leandro "frz" Gomes. The Brazilian played for the likes of Parallax Gaming and Spacestation Gaming during his career at the time.
frz has a number of impressive achievements under his belt transitioning into VALORANT. This includes 1st place finishes in all of the 2020 BR Paladins Pro Circuit Phase 1, the PWC 2020 Placement, the 2018 BR PGS Fall Split, and the 2018 BR PGS Phases 6 to 8.
This isn’t his first time playing VALORANT, as he was part of the B4 Esports roster revealed back in September before parting ways with the organization on December 12th, 2020. During his VALORANT career, frz managed to finish 3rd-4th in the OnFire Cup, 3rd in the EVOlution Open - Brazil, and 5th-6th in the Gamers Club Ultimate #2. As part of B4 Esports, they managed to reach the semi finals of the First Strike Brazil Regional Final losing to eventual champions, Gamelanders Blue.
He averaged 225 ACS throughout the 681 rounds played so far, contributing 10 clutches, 101 multikills, and even doing 129.9 average damage per round. frz has been known for his Sova, Breach, and Killjoy, showing his versatility and adaptability to playing multiple agents in different compositions.
