Sources: Sector One to finalize roster with saiko, OLIZERA and qpert
According to mulitple sources, Sector One is close to finalizing the roster with Kacper "saiko" Kucharski, Diogo "OLIZERA" Oliveira and Mateja "Qpert" Mijovic.
VRL - France: Revolution - Stage 1 - Main Event was very successful for Sector One. The French team unexpectedly defeated Team BDS in the grand final and became the champion of their region. Thus, they also advanced to the VCT 2022 - EMEA Promotion Tournament, where they lost their two matches against Rebels Gaming and EXCEL and dropped out of the tournament. After that the organization parted ways with Tony "Goaster" Richard, who was officially announced as the new Mandatory player.
As previously reported by Brieuc “Wooloo” Seeger, also Ryad "Shin" Ensaad will leave the Belgian organization and become the new player of Karmine Corp. That's not the end of the changes though, as Cista "KONEQT" Adel has been moved to the bench, who will also ultimately not be part of the new Sector One roster. Therefore, from the previous split only Sammy "iDEX" Van de Weghe and Marcty "MARCTYLINHO" Bienvenu will remain on the active roster.
The new signings for this team are expected to be Kacper "saiko" Kucharski, Diogo "OLIZERA" Oliveira and Mateja "Qpert" Mijovic. The Pole has been playing for AWARIA for the last few months and finished second in the VRL - Eastern Europe: Surge - Stage 1 - Main Event, losing in the grand final against Anonymo Esports. The Serbian, qpert last played for PENTA, where he became the Project V - Split 1 Finals champion. OLIZERA has been unemployed for last several months.
Now Sector One should be:
Sammy "iDEX" Van de Weghe Marcty "MARCTYLINHO" Bienvenu Kacper "saiko" Kucharski Diogo "OLIZERA" Oliveira Mateja "Qpert" MijovicIvo "Lohan" Alibno (Head coach)
