Yacine "Yacine" Laghmari parted ways with Team Finest and joined Guild Esports for the upcoming LCQ. The EMEA team will compete in the LCQ tournament with the Swedish player who will be filling Russel "Russ" Mendes’ shoes.

For the first time in franchise history, Guild Esports qualified for an international stage last month. Their performance throughout VCT 2022 - Stage 2 - Masters Copenhagen was enough to have them take the next step. Moreover, Guild managed to make it out of the group at [event=] but failed to show the same performance in the playoffs. They now have another chance for the biggest event of the year, VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul. Russel "Russ" Mendes will not be with his teammates in LCQ as he has decided to take a temporary break from competitive gaming.

Yacine will be his replacement for Guild Esports during VCT 2022 - EMEA Last Chance Qualifier. He is not a stranger neither to Guild or the roster. The Swedish player used to be a part of the roster but then he left the team and joined Tundra Esports. Lastly, Yacine played for Team Finest and reached the VRL - Northern Europe: Polaris - Stage 2 - Main Event Grand Finals but failed to lift the trophy. Throughout the tournament, he held a 1.17 rating and a 1.16 K/D. He played Raze 22 times and Jett 7 times.

Guild’s current roster which will face Natus Vincere in the first round of the Last Chance Qualifier is:

Sweden Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel Sweden Leo "Leo" Jannesson Spain Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren Russian Federation Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko Sweden Yacine "Yacine" Laghmari

United Kingdom Russel "Russ" Mendes (Bench) Sweden André "BARBARR" Möller (Coach)
