food confirmed as the fourth member of T1 VALORANT roster
Last week, we shared a report about the possibility of Victor “food” Wong, former CS:GO player, being the next member of the promising North American roster of T1.
The organization has officially confirmed that the mentioned player, Victor “food” Wong is joining their VALORANT squad.
For everyone who missed our previous news:
Wong has been playing for organizations such as Singularity and eUnited in the last few years. It was also said his team was supposed to play under the wings of the Chinese organization FunPlus Phoenix to compete in the FACEIT League, FLASHPOINT, however, it didn’t happen eventually. Most recently we could see food competing with a squad under the name Swole Patrol, where in the past he was a teammate with Braxton “Brax” Pierce and Danny “fRoD” Montaner who was also coaching that squad.
We are still waiting for an announcement about the fifth player of the squad. Seeing the tendency of the members being chosen to the team, we might expect another player with a competitive CS:GO background being acquired soon.
Perhaps it could also be a player that Brax had played with previously seeing that most of the players joining T1 had some past experience with him; for example players like** Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro** and** Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik** already announced that they’re moving out of the CS:GO scene to focus on VALORANT.
Current T1 roster consists of:
Victor “food” Wong Braxton “Brax” Pierce Keven “AZK” Larivière Austin “crashies” Roberts
Danny “fRoD” Montaner (Coach)
