Brazilian team FAKEZIN sign with Vivo Keyd
Vivo Keyd Stars is a very well-known Brazilian organization, currently fielding teams in League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and formerly fielding teams in Rainbow Six: Siege, Overwatch, and Dota 2, among others. On September 30th, 2020, Vivo Keyd announced their entry into VALORANT, signing Brazilian amateur squad FAKEZIN.
Vivo Keyd’s full roster consists of Alex "URSO" Ferreira, Túlio "FLG1" Leite, Gabriel "patochovsk" Pacheco, Renan "NANZIN" Echternacht, and Rafael "NikkoLAN" Fernandes, with Joseph "Tecnosh" Touma as a substitute and Marlow “MARLOW’ Garcia as coach. The entire lineup, with the exception of NikkoLAN, was a part of the FAKEZIN roster that has been quite successful in Brazilian VALORANT. FAKEZIN burst on to the Brazilian scene at the GLL Orbital Strike Cup, where they took down Vorax Fusion and made it all the way to the finals before falling to Falkol Esports. Since then, a second place finish at Rivals Contenders, successful qualification for the Gamers Club Ultimate #2, and a 5th/6th place finish at the EVOlution Open - Brazil have cemented the team’s place among the best in Brazil.
Tecnosh, in addition to his VALORANT accomplishments with FAKEZIN, is a well-known League of Legends streamer and former semi-professional. As for NikkoLAN, he was a former member of the VALORANT team of Black Dragons, before parting ways with the team on September 25th.
