B4 eSports see roster fall apart, organization will not fully leave VALORANT
A semifinalist in the First Strike Brazil Regional Final, B4 Esports, have seen major changes to their roster and are slated to see even more. Star Alexandre "xand" Zizi and Leandro "frz" Gomes have already announced their departures from the team, while in a statement to valorantzone.gg, B4’s CEO clarified that the contracts for the rest of the roster expire this month. However, the organization is committed to staying in the scene.
Often noted as one of the best players in all of Brazil, xand has been the heart and soul of B4 throughout all their success, including a victory in Rivals Contenders, multiple podium finishes in other large events, and as mentioned, a semifinal appearance in First Strike. Boasting 248 ACS and 1.12 KD, xand is sure to be a huge asset to whichever team picks him up next.
Former Paladins professional frz was originally reported to be signing with paiN Gaming, but he’s become an integral part of B4. Typically playing Sova, he’s put up stats of 225 ACS and 1.27 KD.
As previously stated, the contracts for the remaining B4 players - Bryan "pANcada" Luna, Wellington "akemy" Martins, and Vinicius "v1nNy" Gonçalves, are set to expire shortly. For now, they remain on the team’s roster, and it is certainly possible they will be re-signed as the organization continues it’s VALORANT journey.
