Fantastic Four Cup Fortnite: Rewards and Tournament Structure in July 2025
A game mode to celebrate the movie launch.Epic Games launched the Fortnite Fantastic Four Cup to celebrate the new Fantastic Four movie, which stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards. The tournament was a limited-time event and gave players a chance to earn exclusive rewards before they became available in the Item Shop. Here is everything you need to know about this Fortnite event!
What is the Fantastic Four Cup in Fortnite?
The Fantastic Four Cup was a global, one-day tournament that took place on July 23, 2025. It was designed to promote the new Fantastic Four movie. The event gave players the chance to unlock the Fantastic Four Bundle early. The bundle included character outfits for Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, Susan Storm, and Reed Richards, along with themed accessories like emotes, gliders, pickaxes, and backblings.
This cup was not only for top-tier players. Epic Games also allowed casual players to earn cosmetic rewards by staying alive in matches for a set amount of time.
How does the tournament format work?
The event followed a clear and simple format. Each region had a three-hour window, and players could compete in up to 10 matches during that time. Matches were played in squads using Fortnite’s standard Battle Royale mode.
Points were awarded for eliminations and placements:
- Victory Royale: 62 points
- Second place: 52 points
- Third place: 45 points
- Top 20 placements received points on a sliding scale
- Each elimination: 1 point
Epic Games used a tiebreaker system in case of equal points. The system prioritized total score first, then total Victory Royales, average eliminations, average placement, and time survived.
Cross-platform play was allowed. Players could join using PC, console, or mobile. All platforms had the same rules, and no one had a scoring advantage based on their device. You can also check the official ruleset.

Fantastic Four Cup Fortnite dates and regions
The tournament took place on July 23, 2025. Fortnite divided the event across seven major regions:
- Europe
- North America Central
- North America West

Each region had its own three-hour window. Players could check their schedule in the in-game Compete tab. Participation was limited to the player’s local region and time slot. Players were not allowed to compete in multiple regions.

These rewards were available to all players who met the survival time limits, regardless of placement.

- All other regions: Top 250 squads
Fantastic Four Bundle Contents
- Four character outfits (Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, Susan Storm, Reed Richards)
- Four emotes
- One glider

- Four backblings
Players who already owned the bundle were not eligible to receive it again. This ensured that rewards went to new recipients.
How to participate
To join the Fantastic Four Cup, players had to meet the following conditions:
- Fortnite account level 50 or higher
- Two-factor authentication enabled
- A non-cabined Epic Games account
- Age 13 or older, or legal majority in the player’s country
- Participation in at least 14 official Fortnite events in the past 180 days
Players could register through the Compete tab in Fortnite. The cup appeared as a session during the event day. Matches had to be played within the assigned three-hour window, using only one Epic Games account and one device per player.
These rules were set to prevent cheating and to make sure the event was fair for everyone.
How to claim your prize
Epic Games is currently handling prize distribution through email. Winners receive an email within 60 days of the event, and they then have 45 days to respond. Players must confirm their identity and complete all required forms, including tax documents if needed.
Epic credits the rewards directly to each winner’s Epic Games account. Players who miss the email deadline or fail to complete the verification steps lose their prize.
Some countries, such as Turkey and Russia, are excluded from receiving certain competitive prizes because of legal restrictions. Epic follows local laws and Fortnite’s global competition terms.
Players who earn the survival-based rewards receive them automatically in their account after the tournament ends. If you are still waiting for your rewards, please be patient as the prize distribution process is still underway.
